The clients' love for chocolate dictated the overall theme of the brown tones that resonated with their desire to have a warm, inviting and functional kitchen. Maple cabinets and the cherry island blend well with walnut hardwood floors. The layered tile in different size below the upper cabinets adds texture and frames the foliage leave pattern tile as an art piece, providing soft movement to the wall. All upper cabinets are outfitted with under-cabinet lighting. Countertops are made of porcelain tile with a slight chocolate glaze to reduce glare and provide ample low-maintenance prep space.
